Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada (VMSN) is a nonprofit healthcare and workforce development organization dedicated to ensuring that low-income Southern Nevadans who do not qualify for insurance have access to quality, compassionate healthcare.

Since 2010, VMSN has partnered with clinical volunteers, healthcare colleges, and community partners to provide primary medical and dental care, women’s and maternity health services, social and behavioral health services, and medications, all at no cost to patients.

VMSN’s work creates a vital healthcare safety net for Southern Nevada’s most vulnerable neighbors. In 2025 alone, 638 volunteers contributed more than 22,600 hours of service, helping VMSN provide thousands of essential healthcare services while reducing barriers to care and helping save the community hundreds of thousands of dollars in emergency room costs.

At the heart of VMSN’s mission is a simple belief: access to quality healthcare should not depend on income or insurance status. By providing compassionate care when it is needed most, VMSN is helping individuals and families live healthier lives and building a stronger, healthier Southern Nevada.
