Growing up, we didn't have much, but we had imagination.
We built castles from discarded materials and learned to create possibility where others saw limitation.
Our grandmother, Maria Dolores Esquivel Garcia, taught us lessons that would shape the course of our lives. She showed us that a person's worth is never determined by their circumstances and that true beauty is often found in places others overlook.
She taught us to look beyond what is visible—to recognize dignity, potential, and humanity in every person we met.
When life was difficult, she reminded us that hope is not something we wait for. It is something we create.
Those lessons became the foundation of Broches for a Cause.
Today, every piece we create is rooted in the belief that beauty has the power to uplift, that kindness can transform lives, and that even the smallest light can help someone find their way forward.
